Our
Values: Creativity, Openness, and Growth
Our company philosophy is to encourage all of our employees
to follow three basic values: creativity, openness, and
growth. But what do these words mean to us?
Creativity
By creativity, we mean out-of-the-box thinking. We mean
asking questions and exploring ideas. We mean taking imaginative
approaches to solving problems.
Why is this so important?
For one thing, we live in a world where people on different
continents are increasingly linked by technology and advanced
communications. The demand for effective IT services is
therefore continually growing.
But more importantly, we have not seen a decrease in the
complexity or volume of information, but rather the opposite:
an explosion of data available at our fingertips. To be
successful in a field governed by these trends, our business
depends on employee creativity.
Openness
Creativity requires openness and flexibility, and so our
culture operates on an open-door policy that fosters free
communication between managers and employees. Rather than
taking a formal, top-down approach to communication, we
encourage each other to go straight to the managers or
co-workers with questions or concerns. We use the same
principle during team projects and company-wide meetings.
Open dialogue is key to our success.
Growth
Digital Infuzion’s growth as a company depends on
a variety of factors, and employee growth is one of them.
For this reason we encourage all our employees—regardless
of job title—to advance their knowledge and become
leaders in the work they do. To support this philosophy,
we offer training and continuing education programs for
technical and nontechnical employees, as well as formal
and informal mentoring to facilitate continual maturity.
Peer Recognition
We like to reward our people for their diligence, and
so every year we hold a company-wide awards ceremony to
recognize and appreciate outstanding work and performance
put forth by our employees. And it’s not the managers
but the employees who nominate the recipients of these
awards. The awards include Most Creative Employee, Best
Technical Employee, Manager of the Year, Employee of the
Year, and Most Valuable Professional.
On a more informal basis, our managers offer cash rewards
and time off to those who demonstrate exceptional
effort at different points throughout the year.
